Whimsical Mushroom and Moss Centerpieces
Elements like moss, mushroom, wood and pine cones always create an earthy feeling for any decoration. That’s why they have been utilized in many woodland themed weddings and parties. The combination of different types of mushroom rising up from a bed of green and soft moss adds a touch of whimsy to any table. You can either use real mushrooms or clay ones. An assortment of mushrooms of different types and heights will give the centerpiece a more natural and whimsical look than using only one type of mushroom.
If you do not want to have real mushrooms on the table or the real mushrooms do not offer the right choice of colors for you, clay mushrooms are good alternatives. You can have these clay mushrooms in any colors you want. The more colorful the mushrooms are, the more fun and whimsical your centerpieces will look.
Here is another original way to arrange mushroom and moss: on a piece of wood! Design Sponge has featured a detailed story about how they came up with the idea and the instructions to create this beautiful woodland arrangement.
“Forest in a jar” – Mushroom and moss could also be used for terrarium centerpieces. A forest is recreated on the table by an assortment of terrariums of different sizes standing on a bed of moss and small plants. How creative!
