Wedding day emergency kit list

The wedding day is one of the most important days in your life, there is every bride wants it to be perfect. Every detail has to be taken care of and you wouldn’t want a single error to happen. But no matter how well you prepare, unexpected incidents might happen and need some fix right on the spot. For example your father may lose a button on his shirt, a bridesmaid may have a headache or a floral arrangement becomes undone after the florist has departed.

In order to be ready for all of the situations in the wedding day, every bride should prepare in advance of an emergency kit. You should have the emergency kit ready in advance and ask one of the bridesmaids or the maid of honor to keep the kit for you during the wedding day. You can either put all of the contents into a zipped bag or a small rolling suitcase.

Below is a list of everything you need to have in your day-of emergency kit. This list is not exhaustive, thus you can add in any other items that you think would be vital in your wedding day.

  • Baby wipes
  • Band aids
  • Bobby pins
  • Breath mints
  • Brush, comb, pick
  • Deodorant
  • Feminine hygiene items
  • Hairspray
  • Lip balm
  • Nail clippers and file
  • Nail polish and remover
  • Pantyhose
  • Powder (talc and face)
  • Q-tips and cotton balls
  • Rope (short and medium pieces)
  • Scissors
  • Sewing kit
  • Smelling salts
  • Stapler
  • Static removal spray
  • Straight and safety pins in many sizes
  • Super glue
  • Tape (duck, scotch and double-sided)
  • Tissues (no color)
  • Tylenol
  • UmbrellaOther items:
  • Wedding guest list
  • Bridal party list (people who are directly involved in the programs)
  • Some snacks, bottled water and drinking straws
  • Contact list of the wedding vendors
  • Another copy of the wedding music CD, pictures and files that are related to wedding programmes. You could also prepare a boom box to play the music in case something happens to the stereo system of the venue.
