Fun and Unique Pencil Vase Centerpieces
Are you looking for ideas for fun and colorful centerpieces? What are more colorful than colored pencils? Whether you are having a school themed wedding, a rainbow themed wedding, a bridal shower or a kids’ birthday party. These pencil vase centerpieces instantly draw attention and add playful touch to your event. To make this centerpiece, you only need:
- an unused can or pickle jar, cleaned and dried, with all papers removed
- Pencils of equal lengths, you can choose pencils of a same color or a mixture of many colors
- Ribbon or twine (optional)
- Glue gun
- Flowers
The instruction is very simple: glue a pencil in the up straight position into the can to create a baseline. Continue to glue the remaining pencils next to the first one until the can is all covered.
I love the all-yellow look of this centerpiece: the yellow color of sunflowers and pencils match each other so well. The idea of a ribbon of the alphabets tied around the pencil vase is also adorable. Instead of these alphabets, you can print your names and wedding dates or a beautiful saying on the ribbon for guests to read at the table.
