Summer Wedding Idea – Watermelon Vase Centerpieces
Flower arrangements in fruits are no longer an uncommon concept. I have once featured flowers in pumpkin vase centerpieces for fall weddings. The same concept could be applied to many types of fruits and today I’m going to showcase a great idea for summer wedding: flowers in watermelon vase centerpieces! Making these watermelon vases is simple and inexpensive: you only need to cut off the top of a watermelon and scoop out the fruit. If you want to use cut flowers for your centerpieces, fill the hollowed watermelon with floral foam.
If you want to use the watermelon as a planter for potted plants and flowers, fill it with soil and place in your favorite plant! What a perfect centerpiece for any summer event!
