Carrie Underwood Wedding – Inspirations and decoration ideas

Carrie Underwood tied the knot with hockey player Mike Fisher on July 10th 2010. They had a beautiful and elegant wedding with 250 guests at Ritz Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation. Their wedding looked just like a fairy tale! The overall color was white and faded pink. Below are a few pictures of Carrie Underwood’s wedding from PEOPLE magazine and via hollywooddame.com. The couple sold their wedding pictures to the magazine after their wedding. I hope you could find some inspirations for your own through this fairy tale wedding.

I love the look of the big birch tree arbor with a big rose ball hanging on top. The aisle was decorated with big trees and climbing rose vines and big rose balls hanging here and there. You can totally create a similar look with branches and flower pomanders hanging on them, this decoration style will make your wedding look girly yet very elegant.

Carrie Underwood’s wedding reception looked very warm and intimate with tall pink and white centerpieces. I love the fact that they did not use a traditional wedding cake but replaced it with a fountain of simple pink cupcakes.

Oh I almost forgot about the wedding dress. She looked like a princess in that Chantilly lace wedding that Monique Lhuillier designed just for her. By the way, I found another picture of Carrie Underwood’s wedding dress. It’s a gorgeous princess like gown made of lace and silk, even though I normally like more form fitting gowns and not this type of fluffy dress, it looked so beautiful on her.
